About

Harland's unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence from Hank Williams to Cat Stevens.  Harland's original songs combine his genuine unpretentious lyrics and mellow vocals , with his amazing guitar playing, for a compassion, and zest for life.  Harland has a beautiful baritone voice with a near two octave vocal range (well beyond two octaves when singing falsetto) and an old style country/ rockabilly guitar playing style.  Harland has been a professional musician and entertainer since 1977.

Harland has been on the South Dakota Public Television's "No Cover No Minimum",  and South Dakota Public Radio "In the Moment".  Harland's original song "Dear Child" received air time in the UK and was the inspirational song of the month on KCMR radio in Mason City, Iowa.  Harland was inducted into the South Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.

Harland has played through Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Harland has opened up for chart topping country artists you know and love.  Harland performed at Cheyenne Frontier Days, Wild Bill Days in Deadwood, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska State Fairs, Harley Davidson in Rapid City, SD and Harley Davidson in Wisconsin during their motorcycle rally.
